Basic formula

Let $b$ and $h$ represent the base and height of a triangle, the area of a triangle is written as follows as per the geometric system.

Heron’s formula

Let $a,$ $b$ and $c$ denote lengths of three sides and $2s$ represents the perimeter of a triangle, the area of triangle is written as the following hero’s formula.

$A$ $\,=\,$ $\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}$
